As Lonelyspeck, singer-producer and multimedia artist Sione Teumohenga sculpts mutant pop worlds from the debris of experimental electronica, R&B, metal, and ambient music.
Since establishing their sonic foundations in the electroacoustic R&B of their sophomore EP Lave (2017) and its industrial pop successor Abyssal Body (2019), Lonelyspeck has carved a unique niche in the Australian electronic music scene and beyond. Their music has been celebrated on national radio stations like Triple J, FBi, and 4ZZZ as well as shared across the ABC, NME, and Complex. With each release, they have refined their ability to balance hyper-detailed production with complex emotional weight.
Beyond their solo music, Lonelyspeck is a highly sought-after producer and writer on an international scale. Their production credits in recent years include co-writing and production for Daine, Bring Me The Horizon, Mallrat, Allday, Nick Ward, and Golden Vessel, while they have been tapped for remixes by Montaigne, Katie Dey, Alice Skye, and Cry Club. Their unique ability to shape sound with both ferocity and delicacy has made them a go-to collaborator for artists looking to push pop music into new, uncharted territory.
In 2025, Lonelyspeck is set to return with their debut full-length album Crown of My Spirit, a hypnagogic odyssey through biomechanical pop, astral dreamscapes, and blown-out rave rock. Crown of My Spirit comes as their first solo offering in over five years, a project that distills their genre-warping instincts into their most expansive and emotionally resonant work. The full-length debut is highly anticipated by fans and artists alike, marking a new era for an artist whose music consistently dissolves boundaries between the synthetic and the organic, the delicate and the abrasive.
