What if your sound notifications on your phone started to live a life of their own?
They would communicate with each other, build romantic relationships, visit each other, and sometimes fly off on vacation.
Can you imagine that? Let's take it a step further. Let the sound notifications become creatures that live only somewhere in the range of sound waves from 20 to 20,000 hz. And with some skill it is possible to hear them and even capture in three-dimensional sound photo.
Artem Dultsev is a sound sculptor, digital artist and co-founder of the label Faktura. After releases on Ikuisuus, Bamboo Shows and Kofla tapes, he returns to Faktura with a new album influenced by the meta-modernist works of Hiroshi Yoshimura and Visible Cloaks.
"Crystallllliiiine" is a dance of sound sculptures, a synesthesia of sound and color in a finely ordered chaos of crystalline grids. Where sound biomes are filled with small organisms, in whose world life simmering.
