Animal Crossing is a series that I never played until a couple of years ago, yet the music has always felt so nostalgic to me; from the simple electronic melodies and drum patterns of the earlier titles, to the more acoustic-focused aura of New Horizons, I love all of the OSTs. So I wanted to create an EP of tracks inspired by the whole series (not just one specific title). I like how the end product turned out in the end. Yeah, it might not have that Nintendo quality or anything, but the imperfections give more of a personal feel. I hope that for anyone who enjoys Animal Crossing or even relaxing music given Sleepless Horizons a listen.
