The pieces are fragments from a story about a past life regression,
wandering through one heavy period in time afflicted by disillusionment, separation, and self-destruction; cathartically processing turmoil and misunderstandings; exhausted from being in a state of feeling locked in, immovable, stagnant, alone; journaling the motions of creation & sustenance in a psychological tug-of-war, trying to push towards a newer sense of self through an awareness of all that is material; through recurring encounters with parallel stories; through self-reflection of the good and the ugly, and trying to find a balance within; through transmuting all the conflicts, all the losses into resurgence; through remembrance of all the years of assimilating tormented breaths and of concealing what needed to be released while trying to forgive oneself for not being able to escape it; through a ceremonial cutting of the karmic cords to an existence that belongs to a life passing through fading timelines, shifting into a changed perspective on relations in/to this world.
The process builds up from collected artefacts of musical exploration, noisy recordings, "stream-of-consciousness" chatter and singing, & thoughts captured reflecting on a mirrored energy of chaos & illusory distortions, invoking feelings that pierce through old wounds. The material is crafted from phone recordings & voice memos, sewn together with phrenic sutures & spectral preparations applied to the cuts.
Through this alchemical experimentation, the entire process provides for a gain in an understanding of one's physical and psychical observations by reviewing many older conceptions & reexamining the elemental attributes of a body of work and oneself as it allows for one to catch a fleeting glimpse into another plastic existence in the cosmic membranes constituting the protean flesh of dreams and the connections it creates in the subtleties of the practical yet disorderly mundane as one goes through an inner "crash and burn" in a hyper-connected all-encompassing reality.
