Philadelphia based indie electronic live artist Luzana Flores, aka OLAN, returns to .WAVCAVE Records with the release of her forthcoming EP, Density. Following a series of club tracks on the sublabel and party series JOINT FUNCTION, this EP marks her first release with the label since 2024's Floating Worlds LP. Built on live and field recordings captured in Philadelphia, the EP marks a shift toward patient, groove-driven songs that unfold into anthemic presence.

After exploring full-band arrangements on 2025's Nimbus Clouds EP released via Seb Wildblood's all my thoughts imprint, Density finds OLAN returning to electronic production with a looser approach. There's less focus on perfection, and more interest in letting sounds speak to each other. The project includes the self-titled single and the B-side "Wander," featuring friends and collaborators Scartoon and Carter Woodson.

"What started as an exercise with samples quickly became layered with experiences I shared with my friends while bringing this project to life," OLAN says. "The more I let go, the more aligned I felt with the music. The goal was to make tracks that nurture the listener the way time in nature does: intentional and patient while still applying the pressure that makes you resilient."
