This record was recorded on 6/11 and 6/12/2025 in a more than swift manner. I wrote these songs in the evenings before or the mornings of the recording sessions, and arrangements were made on the fly, and the first takes of most of the tunes were the final takes.

These aren't easy songs; they're both zero bullshit and all bullshit, written without edits in some sort of dense, imagery-heavy style. They remind me most of the songs I was writing when I first started at this, maybe a year and a half ago. Slow, simple, unrelenting. This is the record that somewhere in my mind back then I desperately wanted to record, even though all those songs mostly were written just for me. This is a culmination of that whole period, and in that way I'm very proud of this.
