January 2025 – Multimedia artist Ran Slavin unveils his 19th studio album, SOFTWARE SHADOWS, a downtempo sonic odyssey with emotional undercurrents of a hyperconnected, digital life. Each of the 14 tracks is a unique ‘digital shadow’, a meditative dive into downtempo beats and intricate layers of melody and ambient soundscapes, weaving a narrative that’s as introspective as it is expansive.

Video artist, visual designer, electronic musician and film maker, Ran Slavin’s work shape shifts at the intersection of electronic underground music, video installation, film, electronic media, graphic design. 

His work with digital technologies explores his own evolving identity in relation to visual cultures, digital realities and fiction.

Recordings have been released on Mille Plateaux, Sub Rosa, Cronica, Railcables, Nana Discs, Esoteric Recordings among others and his own Nocturnal Rainbow Recordings.
