'Return To The Sound System' is a continuation further into the world created with the self titled 'Sound System Automatic'. Ranging from percussive dub and house to techno and electro, this release very much echoes a true love of music across and in between genres as well as representing a continued aesthetic of a sometimes bright, sometimes dark but always slightly spacey and psychedelic type of energy and emotional space. The LP also exists as a loose conceptual narrative based on classic sci-fi adventures of characters being called back to their home planet from a distant galactic space. Returning from far away, either mentally or physically, to face the unknown in order to find necessary sources of liberation, create new relationships and discover things needed either for basic survival or to unlock a vision of ones true self.
