A year after his reappearance with Los Días Sin Nombre, Rosarito ½ returns with 'Luz que sabe morir', an album that delves into the greatest of mysteries: life and death. Surrendering to these monumental ideas, he uses the motif of light and shadow as a metaphor to try to grasp that dialectic.
Will we ever be able to reconcile ourselves with such enigmas and understand them as aspects of the same continuum? The absence of light and the apparent presence of shadow may offer poetic clues to do so.
These songs form a sonic narrative around these questions. They hold within them a great luminous potential and, at the same time, tell the story of a fade-out.
This is the artistic reason behind this release, the first from the Latin American post club electronic music label: Portal Sur.
