Liminality (from the latin word “līmen”, meaning “a threshold”) can be used to describe a period of transition during which usual limits of thought, self-understanding and behavior are shifted, giving way to something new.
The "liminal realm" is a core concept that has emerged from our worldbuilding research umbrella 'Zhōuwéi Network.' It symbolises the mental space that lies beyond our inner and collective value paradigms. What does it take to transcend them? Can we hold multiple worlds at once, even if they contradict with each other?
