Sicotrópico’s debut album (2009) was born in Bogotá, during intense days of rehearsals and communal living. At the time, the three band members lived together in a house-restaurant where they cooked, served food, and performed intimate concerts for guests. That spirit of community life poured into a record charged with raw rock energy, fused with salsa and the essence of Caribbean folklore—not through traditional instruments, but through guitar, bass, drums, and voice. The result: an honest and powerful sound that captured the spirit of the moment and laid the foundation for Sicotrópico’s sonic universe.
