Bristol-based rock music trio Sunglasz Vendor are releasing their new single ‘Was On Fire’ - an eerie skulk through romantic solitude and unrequited love. Opening to harsh mechanical screeching, the track lurches into a lopsided, stop-start traipse, as singer/guitarist Rafi Cohen slowly unpacks his despair.

Amid bleak visions of a lonesome life of “Samsung TV dinners”, Cohen’s sole slivers of hope come via his sardonic wordplay (“drenched in terror / from the gentile’s chutzpah”) as the band muster a raw, anthemic cacophony towards the track’s coda. To mark the release of the single, the band will tour the UK with four dates in February.
