CRUX, the debut EP of Vienna based composer and electronic musician Thomas Neulinger, unfolds as a journey through shadowed electronic terrain and abstract soundscapes.
Following a series of collaborations including projects with Nikos Zachariadis, Richie Herbst and Michael Eisl, as well as composing for film and dance performances, CRUX marks Thomas Neulinger’s first solo release.
Written and produced in January 2025, the three pieces represent a deeply personal approach to composition. Neither absolute nor prescriptive, CRUX melds ambient, noise, and musique concrète into fluid, hypnotic collages.
