Opening with stretched, wavering hum that scorches like brushfire—discordant and searing—"Act IV: Everglow" brings Osni’s journey to its final act. Allen recorded the main chords on a pump organ in the basement of the Aubergine, a Manhattan art house squat, on its final day before closure. The track carries reluctant acceptance—even reckoning—building into a melodic sequence that offers sublime resolution. Midway through, it hollows out into subtle scattering—tinny, echoed and stretched, like flames settling across a vast field. The bass melody originated from an abandoned Christmas carol attempt, accompanied by the pumping of Allen's apartment radiator. As an enchanting melody descends, the song veers into a somber atmosphere, transformation brought to fruition. Technical Director of puppetry Jim Freeman's involuntary whistling appears as the act closes—a human trace lingering as Osni's soul departs the mortal realm.
