“Vida Real Is for Humans. It’s an album where the songs speak for themselves, and I don’t want to embellish them with words since they were written during a very difficult time in my life. With these songs, I wanted to rebel against the message I’d been communicating and break with what I’d done up until then. While there’s a coded hack on this album, which is the Esfera Dorada, Vida Real is a much more 3D experience: I went from talking about a much more subtle and abstract world to saying human and direct things. I think for the first time I had the courage to dare to be in real life."
