JEZTLS Makes His Return to Electronic Music with New Single
The anthemic ‘Wanna Make U Happy’ is the producers first release since 2022.

On Wanna Make U Happy, the Liverpool-based producer blends atmospheric synths with a 90s vocal sample and big room drums. The track follows a string of releases under the moniker JEZTLS from 2015 - 2022, something he did not plan, stating:
‘My original plan for a release was meant to be somewhat consistent, I lost a hard drive with the majority of what I had worked on which was devastating and drained a lot of my ambition.
I came back with a clean slate and found my perspective on releases changed a lot - the title of the song really reflects where I am at - I’m not releasing music for some TikTok fame, instagram clout or social media gain.
This is about making myself happy, making my friends who play my tracks happy and making the people who truly appreciate music happy. That is who I want to make happy. ’
The track came about naturally after playing about within the newest Logic Pro 11.1 update, made and finished in about two weeks in September. Although he hasn’t officially released music - JEZTLS has put out a remix of Slayyyter’s No Comma as well as World Class Sinner from HBO’s The Idol. His next release is a collaboration with Portuguese producer Bandicut, with whom he has been working on his upcoming EP, expected early next year.
