The start to Token’s 5th year didn’t go by unnoticed. Phase’s last EP smacked everyone in the face, receiving broad support from the likes of Ben Klock, Blawan, Surgeon & Dave Clarke.

For our 21st release, we’re very happy to introduce Xhin, the unique Singaporean talent who's been on our radar for a few years now. In November of 2011, he released his second album ‘Sword’ on Stroboscopic Artefacts (his artistic home) to worldwide critical acclaim. Xhin's process seamlessly traverses analogue and digital production, and 'Sword' harboured electronic music that ranges from brutal club sounds to deep and delicate murmurs.

His ‘The Realm Ep’ for Token continues on this path. From the intense beauty of ‘Elliptic’ to the devastating ‘Through The Lines’ over the brutal edges of the monster title track & ‘Asymmetrical Four’, Xhin proves he’s capable of flexing both your body & your soul.

And that’s what Token’s been about since day one; candy for your third ear.
