He started writing this song in early 2024, but after the election it really came into focus. “Hence the lyrics, I’d build a fortress around us, just to protect this.”

This song is dancey and infectious by design. The chorus “ooohs” feel like protest chants but also a rousing anthem inviting you to sing along.
