Across 22 tracks and 55:55 minutes, New Age Music Vol. 2-3 doesn’t arrive as an album so much as a condition. The pieces feel like fragments drawn from a larger, untold sequence: sketches of moments, near-songs that never fully stabilize. The sound keeps shifting, interrupting itself, drifting, snapping back. Instead of resolution, there’s a kind of controlled blur: a deliberate lack of certainty. Within Hora Lunga’s wider body of work, the New Age Music series feels the most personal. Less a statement than a diary: close, uneven, immediate.

Hora Lunga makes music across unstable forms. The work unfolds between experimental song forms, sound performance, film and ensemble music, shaped by close and evolving collaborations.
Recent work includes I’ll Wait For You In The Car Park (2025, -OUS Records), a collaboration with Argentinian cellist and composer Violeta García, which received international attention, including a Bandcamp selection as one of 2025’s best experimental releases. New Age Music Vol. 2-3 is set for release in April 2026. The album invites active listening, not to decode it, but to stay with its shifts, gaps and contradictions. Unobtrusively radical.
