This album is a collection of improvised recordings from 2024. I’ve been a drummer for many years, and these pieces capture my ongoing interest in spontaneous composition, texture, and momentum. Several track titles were taken directly from Anna Kavan’s novel Ice, which also served as a source of inspiration for the album. In many ways, this release is a direct follow-up to my first album, Soft Language—continuing the same exploratory spirit while pushing further into atmosphere, tension, and feeling.
