The creation of this composition took about a day, and I didn't originally intend for it to be biopunk, but while creating and modulating the sounds, I somehow realized that this is how the composition comes across, and mainly that it increasingly began to evoke running through the jungle or some futuristic sci-fi forest. Then I discovered that there is very little "biopunk music" out there—or rather, it's mostly soundtracks—but in those (at least the ones I found), I didn't feel the biopunk vibe so much; it was more of a background element. I incorporated that "jungle-like" feeling into the song, plus the feeling of running away from something or somewhere—then I tried to incorporate it into real running in reality, and it worked, hehe. Anyway, among other things, the song features several distorted sounds/recordings of ventilation and fans + various sounds I recorded in Japan, etc...
The character on the cover is me about 8 years ago, remodeled in Blender. I've wanted to put this look somewhere for a long time, even though it's actually me when I was 15, wearing a bike helmet and wrapped in a towel because I had just gotten out of the pool + the thing I'm holding in my hand are headphones (which I modified) + in my other hand, I have an original 3D model of a lantern from Koyasan Cemetery - which I also modeled in Blender.
