The cover is an illustration of my mom. At 5'0" and 40 years of age, she joined the US Navy as a nurse. The illustration is based on a photo of her from when she took a combat medicine course. They didn’t have a uniform or helmet small enough for her, but she went anyway, because she was the original heavy metal mama.
The world is poorer for her loss.
This is the first of four singles for the album, NOTHING IS EASY.
