Written and recorded by Luke Wyatt in 2012. This is the original, uncut 19 minute version of this track. We had to shave 5 minutes off it when it was released as L.I.E.S. 017.5 in 2013. Cover art comes from a third grade self-reflection assignment. Even as an 8 year old I was beating myself up in big ways, somebody should have told me to cut myself some slack, christ. Enter guitar as a weapon of heroic self-mythologizing, antidotal force to the not-cutting-of-the-slack that started all those years ago.
