Having hosted their wild live show on several occasions, we couldn’t be happier to release the debut album by this unique duo hailing from the artistic underground of Belgrade. Armed with skilful breakbeats, heavy bass lines, phased-out riffs, and a disposition for nonsense, these rakija-drinking creatures can clearly blend low rock, funk, bass music and psychedelia.

Featuring their own brew of musical instruments handmade from winter-sports apparel—such as the Basski and the Skitar—the duo’s frequent live performances have been described as a true “musical avalanche” and were presented at numerous music, film, comic, and contemporary circus festivals across Europe —including Eurosonic, JetLag, Sajeta, Reciklart, Cirkobalkana, Vaga, D Fest, and Summer Sound.

Skillfully played, and influenced by a wide range of musical genres, Adventures in a Blizzard not only represents their debut album, but also celebrates the first decade of Skier and Yeti’s very particular journey: a raw, honest, energetic and cheerful record that we just can’t stop listening to on repeat.
