RIOT ROME RIOT is the new Single by Missing Ear, experimental drummer and sound designer. The new release continues his exploration of active listening as a sensorial and social act, confronting sonic overstimulation not as background noise but as a defining condition of contemporary life.

Drawing from everyday stimuli — metallic sounds, mechanical drones, fragmented voices, but also the visual bombardment of images, posts, reels, AI content, and misinformation — the release want to captures how we're losing the ability to distinguish real from fake.

All these inputs merge into the same overwhelming background, creating a multi-sensory overstimulation that the ep translates into dense, immersive compositions. 
References to scenes like post-club, deconstructed, noise-techno and leftfield IDM are evident, but always filtered through a personal way and sensibility.



R.R.R. invites listeners to inhabit the noise, to confront it, and perhaps, to find new forms of presence within it. The result is not a piece for a playlist, but a manifesto.
