Nama Haga is the title track of Niilas’ upcoming album. “Nama Haga” means “untitled” in Northern Sami, and is a tribute to the late artist Áillohaš. The song has melancholic undertones with dreamy synth-landscapes and melodies, as well as a vocal sample from the Bergen-based group “Evigheten”.
The music video, which was filmed and edited by Lea Meyer, documents Niilas and his friends on a trip to Trevarefabrikken in Lofoten, Easter 2025. Filmed on an old HI-8 cassette camera, the video reinforces the nostalgic and timeless expression. The film concludes with spectacular landscape images from Borga Eggum, where the cover image is taken from, decorated by designer Emilie Korneliussen.
