These songs were written over the course of five years in moments of extreme isolation, grief, and despair. The album is about how life goes on.
Led by Calley Nelson, Star Card includes Jake Whitener (Sunshine Convention, Kira Skye) on guitar, Jackson Tarricone (Voicemail) on bass and back-up vocals, and Brendan Landis (Receive, Hey Exit, Glifter) on drums.
Trash World was self-produced and recorded at Headless Studios in Brooklyn and mixed and mastered by Andrew Gerard Nault (drab, Lesser Glow, Forn) in Boston.
Special thanks to Monroe Getz for back-up vocals and bass, and to Zach Kaye for lending guitar to the freak band during our early live sets.
