“Higher” by Creed

Definitely “Higher.” I used to randomly play the chorus in between jokes and people would laugh. Those are the best kind of laughs, when something is just funny and you can't explain why. Runner up: “One Week” by Barenaked Ladies.

Best Song by a Chicago indie band?

“Tendency Right Foot Forward” by Kleenex Girl Wonder

The band is Kleenex Girl Wonder and the song is “Tendency Right Foot Forward,” although any track from Ponyoak could work. I met Graham while I was working at a Kinko's in Oak Brook, IL, he was a high schooler and would come in to print the artwork for his homemade cassettes. After he gave me a copy of Sexual Harassment I was hooked, I went to all the shows and started making music videos for him. KGW belongs in the indie rock hall of fame if there is one?

Best Song to listen to when you are stuck in traffic?

“Bad Boy” by The Jive Bombers

Put on “Bad Boy,” it'll chill you out and blow your bubbles away. Also, there's a case to be made that it's the first dubstep song. Listen to the "wub wub wub" vocals.

Best Song that is just horrible noise?

“Gone” by Hakushi Hasegawa & KID FRESINO

It came on shuffle at game night and my friend asked me to turn it off. I think Eric Andre sent me this song. We have the exact same music taste. We used to play weird music in Ubers on tour. Once we played Carl Stone and the driver said "this sounds like everything."

"El Lobo" by Wganda Kenya

Found this last year but it's been on rotation. I love the nasty bass.

Best Song by a friend in comedy?

“My Little Voice” by Major Entertainer 

Gonna have to give some props to Major Entertainer. I've traveled the world on various tours with Mike H and he might not necessarily be "in comedy" but he's hilarious and his songs are catchy and weird, plus we both use the same sampler.

Best Song to play when you are deep in the mix?

"Dueling Banjos" by Eric Weissberg and Steve Mandell

Once I was DJing at some dance party and I played “Dueling Banjos” deep in the mix. It turned into a mosh pit and everyone lost it when those banjos got cooking.

Best Song with sad lyrics?

“Day in the Sun” by Spod 

Spod is an Australian legend. I can relate to these lyrics and the song is catchy as hell. We will get our day in the sun though. We are lifers. I once had the pleasure of appearing in a Spod banger called Boy's Night.

Best Song with funny lyrics?

“Man Pants” by DJ Assault

I don't know if DJ Assault is intending to be funny but “Man Pants” is funny. Also, if you want the fun people to dance, you should play some ghettotech.

Best Song to sample for a rap song?

"Bapikek Balam" by Samsimar 

I dunno but I sampled "Bapikek Balam" once and that turned out pretty good. I love this song so much, I've listened to it maybe .5 million times.
