The boys from Bristol are back, baby, with another bag full of expert electronica, damp and dubby like their hometown, crackling like a fried semiconductor floating in a blank void space. Under the Wrecked Lightship name, Adam Winchester (known by some as the dubstep producer Wedge) and Laurie Osborne (Appleblim) present six tracks, both dank and labyrinthian, that cover ground from gonzo IDM (“Delinquent Spirits”) to drizzly dub (“Reeling Mist”). The fifth track on the EP, “Lagoon,” sounds like an attempt to synthesize those two sonic directions. One for the THC seltzer crew.
