With this composition, I would like to pay tribute to one of my favorite games ever, Lethal Company. My friends and I spent many hours, and now even years, playing this game. I enjoy how the game works and how it changed a certain aspect of multiplayer gaming. But why did I create this song? About nine months ago, I was playing Lethal Company with my friends. We started our session again and landed on the moon Experimentation. When everyone left to look for scrap, I was the last to leave the ship, and as I was leaving, I paused to think about how the sound effects used for walking on metal surfaces were so booming that they could be used to make beats. About two weeks later, I sat down at the computer at school and searched to see if the sound effects for this game were freely available. After selecting suitable sounds (I won't name them, LC experts will recognize them), I began to edit them slightly and gradually put together a skeleton, and even though I edited some of the sounds, I tried to stick to the idea that the composition would consist mainly of fresh, "unedited" sounds from the game. I worked on the composition for about three days and was curious to see what I could come up with—well, the result was this industrial soundscape.
I drew the cover for this single myself, and it was more or less improvised. Originally, I intended the cover to be more modernist in style, but somehow I ended up with this "carnival" look. The result was this curtain-like view of a projection screen.
I would like to dedicate this song primarily to Mr. Zeekers, who developed this amazing game that has brought me and my friends so many fun moments. I would also like to dedicate it to the creator of the game sound effects and the entire brilliant game soundtrack, Mr. ZedFox, and I hope that this song will find its way to them someday.
Finally, I would like to dedicate this song to my esteemed teammates:
Flameful, Emus, Arekks, Hwk, X der 26, Gal1leo, Faolin, Darebyl & Haruhi_tan.
Thanks for listening, and take care!
