Emerging from a misty Florida jungle, long-time duo Alien House step in with their much-anticipated LP ‘Flora’. An album that floats along like a spiritual awakening, ‘Flora’ sits in the multiplicity of several electronic genres and stylings while maintaining a sound completely its own. Following the success of their Above EP with Image Research in 2021, their latest offering takes us even further into the depths of their flourishing sound.

Brilliantly subtle and nuanced, each track unfolds like a blossoming flower under moonlit canopies. The synth work is gentle and emotive while the percussion hits like raindrops on lush forest leaves. The spaciousness and vastness of reverb-soaked melodies and chords ease the listener into meditative states while the drum sequences keep everything grounded and pulsing. Though each piece of this album shines completely on its own, it flows as one cohesive piece from start to finish. A vision of a different time and place appears with each listen.
