The Narrative: > "GOLDEN" marks the transition from collaborative dependency to total creative sovereignty. Originally conceived as a rap-focused collaboration with production from Eswatini, the project evolved when the original partnership dissolved. Rather than shelving the work, I dismantled the skeletal remains and reconstructed them as a grungy, alternative indie artifact.
The Sound: > Moving away from traditional rap cadences, "GOLDEN" utilizes gritty, distorted guitar textures and an "Unfiltered" vocal approach. It is the sound of a project being reclaimed. It is a study in friction, autonomy, and the refusal to let a flaked partnership dictate the final output.
