After his debut release of XO, ‘Coex’ received praise and recognition from Mary Anne Hobbs and Giles Peterson, with radio play across BBC Radio 6, NTS, Worldwide FM and Bandcamp weekly. The London based artist releases his new single ‘All for you’.
This beautifully melancholic track brings you into a raw and intimate space. This song captures the haunting beauty of something like a forgotten scrapyard. Its rusted soundscapes, encapsulates a warm but solemn authenticity, creating an atmosphere both vulnerable and enchanting.
‘When I first made the intro sound I wasn’t even planning on doing anything with it’, explains Cormac, ‘I remember just thinking that’s how I’m feeling, and listening to it for hours’.
With synths that feel like they are breathing conscious beings crying out for something, and sounds that wrap you up like a warm blanket in a cold space, this track reaches deep into that untouched neglected space, craving the warmth.
