222Rn is the fused band project of the two trios Radon and Film 2 (Switzerland). 222Rn performed their freshly co-created repertoire at Bad Bonn Kilbi in June 2024, perpetuating this resonating performance now on tape, as live recording and debut album "Angelica Archangelica"

The dark and brute energy of Radon and the repetitive and meditative structures of Film 2 combine to create an experience that is both physically and emotionally stirring. This powerful noise at maximum volume is both a chosen stylistic device and a political stance. 222Rn is denouncing and desperate, at times an angry cry into hopelessness, but in the end a source of energy for transformation, a shaking off and breaking free.
