Versatility is the name of the game when it comes to the music of Scott Olson and his Datagram project. With a heavy influence of 90s techno, ambient, and electronica, Olson has been in and around music for 25+ years, quietly crafting a signature blend of ethereal, texturized productions.

An integral friend and steward of the label, Datagram has taken part in our Evolutions VA and also released the highly-praised dancefloor anthem, “Astral Projection” last fall.

His latest EP “leaves on a stem” scales back the tempos and peels away the humid layers of synth and knob-twitches to reveal something truly meditative and serene. In a world of chaos and confusion, these 4 songs offer a reprieve and rest for the mind and body, while still tingling the senses with blankets of warm, languid static and crystallized sound design. Visions of far-off worlds pass through the third eye, leaving traces of color and light.
