Inspired by science fantasy representations of the end of time, Breathplay's latest release locates a quantum state between club tool and speculative soundwalk. The opening "radio edit" transports us to some barren distant future where a sonar-like pulse decays into a cold hiss. The "Born to Die Remix" recontextualizes this ambience within a terse minimal techno heater, while the spartan b-side "Nobody Can Walk It For You" journeys further into heat-death feedback.
