The 40th release of katharsis is the EP “Life is Hard” by Malle Voss coming out on April 11th. Following up on his debut release “Death is Easy” on Blue Tapes from 2022, the artist expands his musical pilgrimage into pure and spiritual affection in chaotic and dark territory. By using emotion in a structural way, the 6 tracks portray deep truths of overcoming struggle and turning nonsense into meaning. The tracks work like dark botanical angel artifacts, each with their rituals and prayers of death motivation and enlightenment through hardship. The range of sentiments covers everything from both beauty and joy to aggression and ecstasy, in its messy-by-design style of maximalist minimalism.
