after recording during a snowed in season in Japan, Rory J S has gifted us a new release. think late night janitor music at the jazz club. the people left, the bucket gets turned on its head and the piano lid lifted. serenaded into the early hours - alone but connected to something thats been there the whole time, underneath it all, holding it together.
using a hotel room as a make shift studio, and the city as a mirror to refract the inside-out, rory has produced something rarely intimate that asks for little else than what it was made with; simplicity and some kind of warmth.. digital, physical, the rest,
