NYC’s SLINK collective launches their label with an EP of productions from each of their four residents: rrao, K Wata, Enayet and Simisea. Formed out of a mutual affinity for cross-genre mutations and off-kilter club rhythms, SLINK Vol 1 traverses spectral peak-time workouts, weightless trap experiments, warehouse electro, and psychedelic reggaeton across four distinct tracks.
At their club nights, SLINK has hosted artists such as Amazondotcom, Cassius Select, and quest?onmarc, focusing on rising producers working outside of dance music conventions.
The release is accompanied by a run of custom tees, with half of proceeds donated to NYC Nightlife United, a COVID-19 emergency relief fund focused on supporting BIPOC-owned and led businesses who create safe spaces for BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities.
