Looking Out for Dolphins is a site-specific sound suite — a continuous, immersive composition
shaped through a series of improvisational and compositional sessions conducted by Les
Biologistes Marins.
A personal cartography of memories is offered, atmospheres and acoustic impressions
experienced along the coast and inland.
The title track was composed immediately following a sail on a traditional vela latina boat. As the
sun set, the sea darkened to black. The boatman remarked:
"It might be the time."
"Time for what?"
"For dolphins to pass by.”
